Yamaha R6 Cup powered by Bridgestone: Registration now open!
In 2018, the Yamaha R6 Cup powered by Bridgestone will be a new part of the Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship which consists of the consolidation of in total eight motorcycle federations: Italy, Austria, Czech repbublic, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia.
The championship will contain of 6 race weekends with 2 heats each, which sums up to a total of 12 championship races. Those will be held at Slovakia-Ring (Slovakia), Autodrom Poznan (Poland), Pannonia-Ring (Hungary), Red Bull Ring (Austria), Autodrom Grobnik (Croatia) and at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben (Germany). Only by going through this calendar one may be allowed to talk about a “proper” European Championship.
Prior to the opening round at the Slovakia-Ring (04. – 06. May 2018) a testing session is to be held at the same circuit the week before (01. – 02. May 2018) as an official preparation of the season.

How to take part
A total of 40 race-ready Yamaha YZF-R6 are up for sale, built up according to the international Superstock regulations but tuned with finest racing parts such as the GYTR Yamaha racing ECU including the wire harness as well as a full Remus exhaust system. Furthermore the bikes will be equipped with the Bridgestone R 11 tires of the sole supplier of the cup.
There will be different services to be found on site at the track with none of the participants having to worry about spare parts: A special repair service will be installed and a special, structured and organized logistic partner is in place for everyone.
The Yamaha R6 Cup powered by Bridgestone is open for participants of all Nations and Federations and with such also for the whole of Europe, especially Central- and Eastern Europe.
The Cup will be held inside the newly structured Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship, promoted by the company Lutec. The Yamaha R6 Cup powered by Bridgestone itself will be organised by S&B Motorsport, containing of Fritz Schwarz and Andreas Bronnen. Schwarz is a well know tuner inside the motorcycle community and got some more fame by placing Austria’s Martin Bauer with wildcard rides in the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship.
